Dr. Brianna Beckmann
Dr. Brianna Beckmann grew up in the Northeast and attended the United States Military Academy at West Point before ultimately pursuing a career in dentistry. She went on to earn her Biology degree and complete dental prerequisites at Rutgers University, then received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the world’s first dental school: the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
Her unique educational and military training experience—including the coordination of a sharpshooter and high ethical deportment—shaped the precision, discipline, and sense of service she brings to every patient she sees. During dental school, she was recognized with the Herbert E. Friedberg Memorial Award for her exceptional character and commitment to social and professional responsibilities as a citizen and a dentist.
Following graduation, Dr. Beckmann felt strongly about reconnecting herself with the military and completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) at Stratton Veteran Affairs Medical Center in New York, where she focused on serving veterans and gained advanced training in comprehensive dentistry. She practiced in New York before relocating to Charlotte in 2016 and has been happy to call it home ever since.
Dr. Beckmann believes dentistry should feel personal, not routine. For her, it goes beyond checkups and patching problems—it’s about truly understanding each patient’s goals, concerns, and individual needs to deliver thoughtful, personalized care. She takes a collaborative approach that emphasizes education, comfort, trust, and overall health, tailoring treatment to each person rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Her goal is to help everyone achieve not only healthy and confident smiles, but genuinely happy ones as well.
In addition to providing happy smiles, Dr. Beckmann enjoys staying on the move—whether she’s cooking healthy meals, hitting the trails, rolling out a yoga mat, or planning the next travel adventure with her husband.
Dr. Abigail Callahan
Dr. Abigail Callahan is a Charlotte native who’s excited to be back home serving the community that raised her. Her path to dentistry started in an unexpected place—the playground. After a monkey bar mishap led to a few memorable dental visits, she saw firsthand how a caring dentist can make all the difference. That experience sparked her passion for helping people feel confident about their smiles.
Dr. Callahan earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from UNC Chapel Hill in 2018 and went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) with Honors from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2024. She was also recognized with the American College of Dentists Outstanding Student Leader Award.
Dr. Callahan completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center, where she furthered her clinical training. She believes great dentistry is equal parts skill and connection—taking the time to listen, build trust, and make patients feel comfortable in the chair (yes, even during the not-so-fun parts).
Outside the office, you’ll likely find her running around Charlotte (sometimes literally—she’s a distance runner), catching a Carolina basketball game, or checking out live music. She also volunteers with local organizations, walks adoptable dogs, and spends plenty of time with her dog, Millie, as well as family and friends. Dr. Callahan is proud to be back in Charlotte, helping her hometown smile a little brighter.
